My three year old just received the flu vaccine. It was mentioned that she should get a booster dose. Does she need to get that this year? Or next year is fine?

Children under 9 years of age who have never had a seasonal influenza vaccine need 2 doses given 4 weeks apart. If you have further questions or concerns, we recommend that you contact your local community health centre/public health unit and ask to speak with a public health nurse.
