Are there any animal products (including pork) in the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines?

Question:

Are there any animal products (including pork) in the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines?

Answer:
Animal and human cell cultures may be used in the process of making mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, but the vaccines do not contain animal or human cells or tissue. The purification process removes nearly all of the cell components so that only trace amounts of DNA and protein may be present in the vaccine.
